Review Club Sets New Season Lineup

The Review Club of Temple will have five programs for its 2016-2017 season at 2 p.m. on the first Tuesday of October, November, April and May at the Cultural Activities Center of Temple. February Review will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017.

The first review is scheduled for October 4 and will feature Colleen Boudreaux. She will be reviewing "Destiny of the Republic: A tale of Madness, Medicine and the Murder of a President", by Candice Millard.
In November Rose Mary Rumbley will review, "The Secret Life of the American Musical by Jack Viertel.

On Monday, February 13 is Joy Davis giving a special review and coming out of retirement. This review gives the delightful history and mystery of the most romantic day of the year, Valentine's Day.

On April 4, Sharron Lucky will review "All Over But The Shoutin' ", by Rick Bragg. In Rick Braggs own words: This is not an important book. It is only the story of a strong woman, a tortured man and three sons who lived hemmed in by thin cotton and ragged history in northeastern Alabama.

On May 2, Susan Boone will review a true story, "The Mockingbird next door-life with Harper Lee", by Marja Mills.

Season tickets to the review club cost $30 and can be used interchangeably. Proceeds from The Review Club go toward promoting youth activities in the community.

Tickets are available at the door or can be purchased from Review Club members.
