The UPS Store

I used their Notary Public service here, paid the fee for another business company transition. I put my trust in the UPS Store for their service; UPS employee A Smithee is supposedly a trained professional in Notary for the state of Texas and through UPS.
The business I used to send the document for the Notary Service said they could not accept the document since the date was illegible and the entire document had to be redone. . I was hoping "The UPS Store" would compliment another document and instruct me how to do this properly; as this individual who is employed by the UPS store, would initially know the proper procedure .
She immediately said that I would have to pay for a new one, and said it was all of my fault even though she signed and stamped the document that the company I was doing business with worked not accept it due to the illegible date.
She said the business owner would look at it, but would more than likely say I had to pay for another document
I guess the customer is wrong as both refused to honor my him let request. Never doing business there again with the unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge of a Notary Service at this UPS.
I went to my local bank and had it done correctly and for free, should originally but live and learn. .

Happy to see that they were fully staffed the week of thanksgiving. They had 5 employees that I could count, 3 at the counter, 1 helping customers in the foyer and one moving packages. Probably a few more in the back. All of this helped make the line a short wait. Everyone knows that standing in line for a long time with an understaffed store is one of the worst things. The employees say sir and ma'am and they're speedy at their jobs.

I always go to the UPS in Lakeside Ca. All of the people working there are very helpful and nice.

I needed to return a twin mattress to Amazon. Amazon gave me the chose to have it picked up by UPS. This was my first time to use that option. Normally I would take the item to them. It was easy and UPS was friendly and professional. And within a few hours the mattress was credited to my account.

Super friendly employees. Was greeted promptly and offered a receipt for my drop off 8nstead of," Leave it in the bin", like other places.
This will definitely be me package drop off spot from now on.

Both times we have used UPS delivery - once in the US and one international it has been a fiasco and super stressful to the recipient and us.
The US delivery resulted in the package being sent to a pharmacy for pick up in a metropolitan area.
Our son was never notified and after multiple tracking events, a lying agent at the destination and 2 weeks of wait,it was sent back.
A second delivery weeks later finally got there.
(Expedited service??!)
The second was an International delivery. The "WOrld Wide Expedited delivery" still has not been delivered to the recipient- sent 2 Saturday's ago.
While FedEx and DHL have a International customs agents- UPS does not - it makes the receiver find one!!!
This was never disclosed by the UPS store agent, Oscar, nor the owner.
On my end (sender): Tracking, discussion with International UPS, corporate UPS through Twitter and with the owner at the store has been an exercise in futility, dismissive, a run around and worthless. To date our package has not been delivered and will require retuning to the US (so we can use FedEx or DHL)
Meanwhile the recipient has been super inconvenienced on the pick up and has continued to suffer (ill) - still never receiving the much needed package.
Oscar and the owner were of no use in solving this.

Very friendly and efficient the few times I've needed service. Much better than the drivers and the logistics side.

I have been using this service for years, but lately have not been happy with their forwarding service. The latest incident was the worst. I called on Tuesday to have mail forwarded on Tuesday expecting to receive it by Friday. When I called about not getting notified of shipment I was told they had gotten too busy and didn't forward anything. I now have delay my trip until my mail arrives next Tuesday. . Not a happy customer

Wow. Just spoke to the British woman on the phone about picking up missed packages. She was so rude and dismissive. Couldn't even take the time to look up my name.

I own a business and use the Temple UPS store for backup when I run out of packing supplies or last minute shipping. Everyone I've ever talked to here has been very courteous and helpful. They always have the supplies I need in stock and go above and beyond to help when I show up with a truckload of packages at 5:30pm when the UPS truck is loading up and about to leave. They don't help because they are making a bunch of money off me, I have my own shipping account, they don't get anything from what I ship. They help and are courteous because I know their job is hard and treat them with respect. If you have a bad experience here It's not because of the staff.
