I had the MOST wonderful Birthday celebration thanks to Kiara! Everything was delicious! Save room for desserts! Wow...what wonderful selections!
It was definitely the perfect place to celebrate my day!
Thank you again for maintaining wonderful food and great service for years now! That is not easy to do!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - rebecca g.Austin, TX8231Mar 23, 2024
The restaurant was packed. It was Saturday and prom night, 3/23/24. We were there for a family together.
I ordered herb crusted mahi mahi with risotto and green beans. The mahi mahi was dry and it encased in a crust that was hard and very much like it had been deep fried! The risotto and green beans had very little seasoning.
My husband ordered meatballs arribbiata (not arrabbiata.) The meatballs were dry and very much in need of some seasonings, as did the pasta sauce. The spaghetti was thick, broken-up, and overcooked. We were very disappointed. We will likely not go there again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 573272Mar 15, 2024
Came in as a party of four around 5 and IMMEDITALY got seated. Our waitress Anya (sorry if I spelt that wrong), was amazing, made sure our drinks never got empty and constantly was making sure we were doing good and was very friendly.
We all ordered a pepperoni pizza, chicken Caesar salad, heirloom Margherita (gluten free cauliflower crust), and Fettuccine Pignetti but with GF Penne.
The ambience is very nice, a bit on the romantic side since lights are dim and candlelight at the table. Lots of tables inside, and has a very exquisite wine collection.
Caesar salad was great, had j the right amount of dressing and wasn't too tart. Pizzas weren't the greatest, it was definitely a bit overpriced for what we got but it was on the nicer side of dining. They had a gluten free crust, which came in a medium size (if I remember correctly). The Margherita was good, had a good ratio of tomato and basil and cheese.
Definitely would come back for a date night but not a family outing unless it was celebrating something.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Steve K.Austin, TX0473Jan 8, 2024Updated review
Food was ok.
Had reservations on a Saturday night for 8 special family dinner/celebration
Ordered fries cheese they were out of it. That's my daughter's favorite when we go here. Ok it happens.
Server took our order and delivered our appetizers.
About 20 minutes later she came back to say one of my guests order was out and handed him the menu to choose again.
After he made a rushed decision our food started coming out.
All 7 of us sat there looking at our food as it got cold while we waited for his dinner order.
When I find a manager to let her know, she didn't seem to care much and never apologized.
I could have put up with the incompetence in the kitchen but the lack of empathy from the manager is not acceptable.
Our bill was slightly more $500 so expected better. Shame on me I guess
For what used to be our go to for special occasions, sorely disappointing.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Sep 9, 2022Previous reviewService was great
Food not so much.
My ribeye which has been very good in past was only ok. Seemed like a lot
More fat and gristle than ever.
My parter had a fish dish which had little to no flavor. I tried it and i agreed.
They now charge for the bread and olive oil which for an Italian restaurant though was being pretty cheap.
Hopefully this was an off day for them and not the new way.
This had been our go to place in the past I hope we don't have to change. - Nov 10, 2023
Hell's bells! This spot was delicious and PACKED on a Friday night! Hubs Yelped it, I obliged, and we both got more than we bargained for. His truffle pasta was handmade (I could tell) and delicious (I tasted it) , and my blackened salmon salad was effing amazing! I'm not even a "salad for dinner" girl, but it was recommended, I went with it, and I'm so glad I did. The salmon was cooked beautifully - not over, just perfect. We also tried the creme brulee for dessert and while it hadn't had time to fully set (I'm sure as busy as they were, orders were flying out of the fridge), I can't even knock it as it was still so tasty and the vanilla bean was popping. I would have like to see some sort of berry garnish to make it more appealing to the eye, but again, the flavor was spot on without the bells and whistles, so I'll move on.
The wine selection was nice, we went with the house Pinot gris as the best pairing for our order and that didn't disappoint either.
Cheers to Pignetti's for (not-so) quietly killing it!Helpful 9Thanks 4Love this 14Oh no 0 - James M.Invalides, Paris, France02Apr 17, 2024
Solid Italian food for Central Texas but I don't expect it to be as good as Jersey. Tables are a little crowded and it feels like you are in a wine warehouse sometimes. I appreciate the wine expert collection of high end wines but put them away!

My sis in law chose to have her birthday dinner here and I can definitely see why. This is what you expect when you want authentic Italian food. The service was excellent, very attentive and quick. The Cesar salad was so good! I wish I had more tbh, there was 6 of us and all the plates were very good portions. Most of us had leftovers to go. We all got something different and shared the plates and everything from the salmon, steak and chicken were well seasoned and cooked! The place is very romantic and intimate it's self so it's a perfect place for dates or celebrations

I was completely caught off guard at the amazing food here. We went in about 45 minutes before they closed; they were very accommodating. The food was divine. My daughter had the spaghetti and meatballs. My one year old grandson ate the spaghetti like he was starving. He and my daughter both loved it. I had the Butternut Squash Sacchetti. Perfection! We had two desserts - they were both good.

sometimes I wish that yelp would let you give a .5 star! I feel bad, giving it a three, because this place is 3.5
We stopped by after a quick trip to a TSA pre-check station here & grabbed a bite before heading back home. The hostess was able to seat us right away which was fantastic for 6 pm on a monday!
Our waitress was super nice and welcomed us right away. we opted for the bread service which, heads up is three dollars. That he wasn't necessarily on the menu, item or communicated with us when we sat down. On to the menu! I wish they had smaller portions of the salads, especially if you're ordering a main pasta dish. I LOVE beet salads so had to get it ...it was okay but dry...as in it didn't have any dressing/oil for the mixed greens. The Black Truffle pasta dish was good.
when we got the check, we were a bit surprised by what felt like little hidden fees. they do charge a credit card processing fee of just a couple bucks, and the bread service, as I mentioned earlier. since Covid, a lot of places, especially small mom & pop places, have had to charge fees to keep up with rising costs and other items and I'm totally fine with this. However, in other cities that have gone to that charge these fees, folks are pretty upfront about it, so it was a little bit of a bummer that the restaurant didn't disclose this.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - Barbara P.Everett, WA015Apr 10, 2024
My husband and I had the pleasure to dine at Pignettis in Temple recently. The ambience was beautiful but the food was amazing. Our server was Jonah who delivered exceptional food and service. Overall a truly five star experience!!
