Event Description:
Sharing the economic impact to business/employees, families, County and municipal government and tax payers when persons with mental illness do not have access to appropriate resources at the community level. If you have a business in, are a service provider in, or employed in Central Texas, you will want to be at the Economics of Behavioral Wellness summit. The ultimate goal of the summit is to share the economic impact to businesses/employees, families, county and municipal government, and tax payers when individuals with mental illness do not have access to appropriate resources at the community level and show how certain interventions glean positive fiscal and human outcomes. Business community members, health care providers, community resource stakeholders, local county and municipal government decision makers, and residents in Bell County and the surrounding counties who have an interest in behavioral health issues are invited to attend and learn how to make a positive economic impact as well as improve the mental health outcomes of your fellow Central Texans. To register or for more information about the summit, vendor booths, and available scholarships, contact Rita Kelley at rita.kelley@bellcounty.texas.gov or at (254) 618-4193. $20.00 registration fee includes lunch.
